Almost every single article about weight loss and getting healthy tells readers to avoid drive through windows like the plague as well as to perform all of their own cooking. There’s some worth to this. Occasionally, though, the last thing you need is to have to cook meals from scratch. Once in a while you need to pay a visit to the drive through when you are on your way home and end the day. There isn’t any reason that you shouldn’t be permitted to do this and not be suffering from shame about slipping on your diet. This is because many of the popular fast food restaurants on the market are trying to “healthy up” their selections. Here is how you can find healthy food choices at the drive through.

Your beverage needs to be water or juice or milk. Drinking a large soft drink causes hundreds of empty unhealthy calories into your diet. Usually just one helping of soft drinks should be eight ounces big. That serving normally includes at the very least a hundred calories and more than a few tablespoons of sugar. A fast food soft drink is typically at the very least twenty ounces. It is usually no less than 30 ounces. This means that your drink alone will put a large number of ounces of sugar into your body as well as several thousand empty calories. Milk, fruit juices or plain water are much healthier options.

Fundamental sense states that the simplest way to lose weight and get healthy is to ban fast food from your diet completely. While this is usually recommended all you need to do is make a couple of good decisions and traveling to the drive through isn’t anything to worry about–when you do it in moderation. Sometimes the best thing is to let another person create your dinner. When you select healthy menu items, you do not have to feel terrible about visiting the drive through.

We hope you got benefit from reading it, now let’s go back to pot-stickers (gyoza) recipe. To cook pot-stickers (gyoza) you only need 14 ingredients and 4 steps. Here is how you do that.

The ingredients needed to make Pot-stickers (Gyoza):
  1. Take Some won-ton wrappers (don't be a jackass, just buy them)
  2. You need about 1/2 a pound of any meat you want (ground or chopped fine) (if using whole beef primal/subprimal, I recommend cooking ahead of time)
  3. Use Baby Bok choy, chopped fine
  4. Provide 3-4 cloves garlic minced
  5. You need 1 big knob of ginger, diced fine
  6. Provide Juice of a lime
  7. Get 1 spoon sambal (garlic-chili paste)
  8. Take 1/2 bunch chopped green onion
  9. Take 1 glug of soy sauce, mirin, rice vinegar
  10. Get light drizzle of toasted sesame oil
  11. Get Pepper, red pepper flake
  12. You need vegetable oil
  13. Use 2-3 tablespoons water
  14. Get 1 knob butter
Instructions to make Pot-stickers (Gyoza):
  1. Combine all of the ingredients with the exception of water, oil, butter and the won ton wrappers (smartass). Set aside in the fridge covered in plastic (this can be done ahead of time)
  2. Place a small spoonful (1 teaspoon-ish?) of the filling in the center of a won ton wrapper. Dip your finger in some warm water and run along the edges of the wrapper. You don't want it sopping wet, just sticky. Bring up all of the corners, working in a counter-clockwise fashion (it doesn't matter, thats just how I do it) and pinch the seams together, ensuring you press out all of the air, and the pot-stickers are sealed completely. Set these aside under a damp kitchen towel until ready.
  3. Bring a small drizzle of oil to temperature over medium/medium-high heat and place in the pot-stickers. Let fry until the bottoms begin to turn golden brown. Once achieved, dump in approximately 2-3 tablespoons of water and immediately cover. Steam for 3 minutes.
  4. Blot out any excess water and quickly add a bit of butter. Fry for a bit longer, continually checking the bottoms of the won tons to ensure you are not burning them (ride the heat throttle to compensate). Once they are fried to your liking, remove to a paper towel lined plate and serve with soy sauce and more sliced green onion!
