  1. Get 12-15 Garlic cloves

  4. Provide 1.5 tsp cumin seeds

  6. Prepare 2 bay leaves
  7. Get 1 medium size sliced onion
  8. Prepare 1/4 tsp black pepper powder
  9. Take 2 tsp salt
  10. You need 1 tsp turmeric powder
  11. Use 1.5 tsp coriander powder
  12. Provide 500 grams chopped cabbage
  13. Get 1/4 cup green peas
  14. Provide 2 tsp garam masala
  15. Use 1/2 cup chopped coriander leaves
  16. Take 4 tbsp mustard oil
Instructions to make Cabbage Masala:
  1. Take a blending jar, add garlic, ginger, tomatoes, cumin seeds & dry red chillies.
  2. Then blend it. Take aside the masala paste.
  3. Heat kadai & add oil. Then add bay leaf & sliced onion to the hot oil. Saute it for 2 minutes. Sprinkle one pinch salt on sliced onion.
  4. After 2 minutes add masala paste & then fry for 4-5 minutes until the raw smell to go away.
  5. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder.
  6. Add chopped cabbage, green peas & salt. Mix it well.
  7. Fry until the cabbage is cooked to your liking. Stir occasionally. Then add garam masala.
  8. Finally add chopped coriander leaves & black pepper powder.
  9. Now ready to serve.
