Just about every single article you read about restoring your health or weight loss is going to tell you to ignore the drive through and cook all of your meals instead. There’s some benefit to this. But sometimes the last thing you would like to do is put together a whole meal for yourself and your family. Sometimes almost all you desperately want is to go to the drive through and get home quickly. Why shouldn’t you be able to do this from time to time and not have a bunch of guilt about slipping up on your diet regime? This is because most famous fast food restaurants on the market are trying to “healthy up” their selections. Here’s how you’ll be able to eat healthfully when you are at a fast food spot.
Visit a drive through for a place which has made it a practice to supply healthier options to people. Arby’s as an example, is void of burgers. Instead, a person’s selections consist of roast beef and chicken sandwiches, wraps and big salads. Wendy’s, although no stranger to the hamburger, additionally includes a lot of other meal choices: large salads, large baked potatoes and other tasty items fill its menu. Most fast food dining places usually do not stoop to the unhealthy lows seen at McDonalds.
Standard logic tells us that one positive way to get healthy and shed pounds is to drop the drive through and to remove fast food restaurants from your thoughts. While, in most cases, this is a good plan, if you make intelligent choices, there is no reason to feel guilty for visiting a drive through one or two times a month. Sometimes what you require most is just to have another person do the cooking. When you select healthful menu items, you do not have to feel guilty about visiting the drive through.

- Take 300 grams Ground meat
- Provide 1/2 Onion
- Take 1 Egg
- Provide 1 Salt and pepper
- Use 1 Nutmeg
- Prepare 2 tbsp ☆ Tomato ketchup
- You need 3 tbsp ☆ Japanese-style Worcestershire Sauce
Steps to make Low Calorie and Inexpensive Tofu Burgers:
- Place the tofu on a large plate. Press the tofu gently and put another plate on top. Cook in the microwave.
- After cooking in the microwave this much water comes out from the tofu.
- Drain away the water completely. ( Press the plate on top and tilt the plate under the tofu to squeeze out the water).
- Chop the onion. Put the onion, ground meat, egg, drained tofu, salt, pepper and nutmeg in a bowl. Mix well by hand.
- Shape the mixture into round patties in your desired size. Gently flatten the patties and make a small dent in the centre. Place the patties in a frying pan over a high heat ( if you have IH cook at level 5). Pan-fry until the bottom side is golden brown, then turn over. In this photo I made regular sized burgers for myself and mini burgers for a bento lunch as well as for my child.
- Reduce the heat to medium and cover the pan with a lid. Fry for about 10 minutes to cook through. (We have an IH range so I cooked them at level 3.)
- I use the cooking juice after frying to make the sauce. Add ketchup and Japanese-style Worcestershire sauce to the frying pan. Simmer and stir over a medium heat. When it starts to bubble turn off the heat.
- Place the burgers on serving dishes and pour over the sauce to serve.
