- Provide Jack fruit
- Take Splitted moong dal
- Provide Jaggery (scraped)
- Use Cardamom powder
- Get Coconut milk (thick)
- Provide Cashew nut
- Get big pieces of coconut (cut into small pieces)
- Prepare Ghee
- Use Water
Steps to make Jackfruit kheer:
- Soak moong dal for 30 mins.
- In a pressure cooker add jack fruit and moong dal add 1cup water, cook 5 min after the 1st whistle (reduce flame) once cool, grind as a paste.
- Take deep pan add 1tbs ghee fry cashew nuts until golden brown. Remove and fry coconut pieces till the colour change, remove and keep.
- In remaning ghee add scrapped jaggery, let it melt, now add the jackfruit paste, cook in low flame. If the consistency is too thick add little water.
- After 10min, remove the pan, add coconut milk, cashew nuts and coconut pieces.
- You can serve hot or cold and enjoy your delicious kheer.
