The ingredients needed to make Crab Stuffed Tilapia:
- Prepare 5 tilapia fillets
- Prepare 1 tbsp olive oil
- Get 1/2 cup yellow onion (chopped)
- Prepare 2 cloves minced garlic
- Get 1 cup crabmeat (immitation or fresh)
- Use 2 tbsp cream cheese
- Take 1 tsp old bay seasoning
- Take to taste Salt & pepper
- Prepare 2 tbsp finely chopped garlic chives
- Take 2 tbsp butter

- Preheat oven to 375°
- In medium sauce pan add olive oil & heat to medium heat. Add in onions until the start to caramelize a little bit. Then add garlic, chopped up crabmeat, cream cheese, old bay seasoning, s&p and garlic chives. Stir til well incorporated. Remove crab mixture from heat & allow to cool.
- Lay out tilapia fillets, pat dry with paper towel. Layer a thick layer of crabmeat mix onto each fillet, spread until even.
- Roll up each fillet & lay seam side down on a greased baking pan.
- Melt butter in a small cup. Mix melted butter with lemon juice, a tad of old bay seasoning, s&p & drizzle over the tops of rolled up crab stuffed fish.
